How to add colour to your home
In 2024, people are saying goodbye to the minimal, beige trend and are trying to introduce more colour into their homes. Me included. When you first make this decision, it can be pretty overwhelming. What colours to choose, where to add them, how much colour is too much?
In this post, we will run through a few simple ways that you can add colour into your interiors.

CUSHIONS
One of the most simple ways to first start to incorporate some colour into your home is by adding a pop of colour with a cushion or blanket. This can be in your bedroom or living space and is a great way to start experimenting with what colours you like, without making a big commitment.
BEDDING
My next favourite way to add a pop of colour to my home is with bedding. You can have fun with this and try out new colour combinations. With either a solid colour sheet or add more with a colourful or even patterned duvet colour.
DECOR
Using different home decor types is a great and easy way to add small colour pops to your space. The options are endless. Think coffee table books, side tables, vases, ornaments, so many different pieces, big and small and they can take a space from plain to exciting.
SEATING
Finally, if you’re ready to take a bigger leap into the world of colour, having a statement couch or occasional chair is a fun way to add a bigger coloured piece to any room.
Adding colour to your space is not only trending in 2024, but also is a great way to bring some life back into a minimal space! I love adding new cushions, and decor pieces to my home, it makes it more inspiring for me to be in. Hopefully, you now have some ideas on how you can brighten up your home.
