Oscars 2026 Red Carpet Recap: The Stars That Won ‘Best Dressed’
Cinema's biggest night has come and gone - and while the gold statues had plenty of competition, it was the red carpet that truly stole the show. This year's Oscars breathed fresh air into its famously traditional dress code: floor-length gowns got unexpected twists, and tailored suits proved menswear doesn't have to play it safe.
Now that the envelopes have been opened, it's time for the verdict that really matters. Here are our best dressed of the night.
Pedro Pascal
Clean-shaven and fresh-faced, the internet's favourite ‘zaddy’ wore a Chanel number. The look was a modern reiteration of the classic tux: no jacket, high-waisted pants, and a stunning Camélia feather brooch that tied it all together. Timeless and utterly his own, Pedro Pascal sets the standard for non-boring men's red carpet fashion.

Rose Byrne
Nominated for best actress, our Aussie belle of the ball arrived in Dior - a black strapless mermaid gown adorned with an elegant floral design. She completed the look with a sculptural yellow diamond choker from Taffin by James de Givenchy that has been living our heads rent free ever since.

Teyana Taylor
One look at Teyana Taylor's red carpet history and it's clear she knows how to dress for award season, and the Oscars were no exception. The actress turned heads in a sheer Chanel gown covered in black and white feathers and sequins, a look that embodies showbiz from head to toe. Naturally, it earned its place on our list.

Demi Moore
One clear takeaway from this year's Oscars: feathers are in. Demi Moore made the strongest case for the trend in a green Gucci gown - a sweeping, peacock-inspired creation blanketed in plumes. Striking and dramatic, Demi proves that when it comes to a statement look, more is always best.

Jessie Buckley
Well-deserved Best Actress winner Jessie Buckley channelled Hollywood icon Grace Kelly in a Chanel gown featuring a red satin draped top and a billowing baby pink chiffon skirt. A striking pop of colour in a sea of black, it was a memorable look for a memorable night for the beloved Irish actress.

Mia Goth
Despite her gothic moniker, Mia Goth brought pure romance to the red carpet in a lacey cream Dior gown. Delicate and ethereal, the look featured intricate lace detailing and a dreamy silhouette that felt like it belonged in a fairytale. Despite being a Scream Queen, we were happy to see this softer side of Mia.

Emma Stone
As an Oscar darling, this isn’t Emma Stone’s first rodeo. The Bugonia leading lady personified a ‘shimmering star’ in an ethereal Louis Vuitton gown. The cut of the gown had a regency-edge - think cap sleeves, a square neckline and a show stopping open back. Could this be Emma’s best Oscars look? We think so.

Michael B. Jordan
Taking home his first Oscar for Best Actor, Michael was also repping LV. Standing out from the ‘penguin colony’ in all-black, this look was elevated with a sharp stand collar, large onyx buttons and a sleek silver chain. Understated yet sophisticated, it was proof that a monochromatic moment can be done well.

Odessa A’zion
Serving Old Hollywood cross Stevie Nicks, Odessa wore a sparkly number from Valentino’s recent haute couture collection. Reportedly styled by herself, Odessa paired the robe with a ribbon choker, diamond necklaces and her signature curly hair. As a rising star, we will be keeping an eye out for her on future red-carpets.

Amy Madigan
Also on the feather train, Amy opted for a Dior ensemble centred on a bold gold and black textured blazer, finished with brown-tinted sunglasses. Polished, powerful and undeniably cool - the Best Supporting Actress Winner looked every inch the movie star.

Anne Hathway
Last but certainly not least, the most fashionable moment of the night belonged to the Devil Wears Prada protagonist herself, presenting alongside the one and only Anna Wintour. Anne wore a breathtaking Maison Valentino gown adorned with intricate embroidered florals. Whether groundbreaking or not, one thing is clear: florals are forever for spring.
