Red Carpet looks from the 2023 Golden Globes — Trendii

Yes, we’re here again. It’s award season. Starting of with the Golden Globes. Back in action after their hiatus in 2022.

It was a night of glitz, glam and of course, golden globes, which were awarded to Evan Peters and Austin Butler for their reenactment of 2 very different, yet historical figures in history.

Aside from the winners, we need to take a look at the red carpet fashion.

Shades of cyan

Or blue, whichever you prefer. Colbalt blue has been tipped as one of 2023 top contenders for the top spot of “Colour of the year”, these celebs obviously got the memo.

Simple, but effective

Another trend we reported on in our 2023 Fashion Trends post. Simple, 90’s inspired minimalism made its way back to the red carpet for the Golden Globes.

Flower Power

A frolic among the flowers was apparently in order for some of the stars attending the awards. We saw flowers as brooches, and embroidered. Are we heading back further to another 70’s fashion revival?

Mermaid core

Is it a mermaid, is it a ballerina? These 2 upcoming trends blend together perfectly. The pale pink shades, delicate draping and a little bit of sparkle. The Barbie era is officially over, we’re all about the pastels.

Black is the new.. black

We saw an abundance of black gowns on the carpet. Another reflection of the minimal, 90s era returning. Is 2023 the year neutrals are cool again? I hope so.

Sparkling stars

Literally. We know that silver & sparkles is the next big thing, it seems that anything shiny is also in. From sheer & silver silhouettes to bold in gold, if it sparkles, it’s a yes!
