How To Style Neutrals

How To Style Neutrals

I feel like a few years ago, telling someone their wardrobe didn’t have enough was an insult, now I gladly accept it as a compliment! Neutrals are one of those colour palettes that can be styled an endless amount of ways, but always look stylish & put together!

Neutrals are personally my favorite colour palette to style. You can play with different shades, textures the options are endless! I’m going to share with you my favorite ways to style neutral outfits, without being boring!

Suiting

A sure way of looking chic is a suit! An oversized blazer, matching trousers & a knit underneath for an elegant look. Or if you want something a little more statement, pair a blazer with a matching mini skirt & a knit bralette underneath, paired with your fave knee-high boots for that sexy, french vibe!

Texture

Playing with different textures is the perfect way to spice up a neutral look. Think chunky knit jumpers, faux leather, silk slip skirts & long wool coats. Adding different textures to an outfit breaks it up & adds more interest to the look!

Layering

Layering is very popular when it comes to wearing neutrals. Start with a pair of trousers, add a basic white tee, leather belt, boots, then throw on a chunky jumper & a coat to complete the look! Adding different layers helps to add to the look & make it more unique!

Patterns

This one is often forgotten about when styling neutrals. Patterns are usually thought of with a more colourful look, but combining neutrals tones & patterns is such a fun way to elevate your look! Plaid, checks, leopard print whatever you can think of, it will work.
