How to style Loose Jeans
Denim jeans are one of those wardrobe staples everyone needs. There are so many trends and styles that come and go. One trend that is currently on the rise is straight/loose jeans. Today, I am going to show you some of my favourite looks and how to style this trend!
The Straight Leg
This is one of my favourite styles of denim to wear. A high waist straight fit can look cool and classy. My go-to way to wear these is with a tight-fitting top, to create some shape & with a pair of pointed heels or boots, for a classy yet casual look.
Another way to style a simple pair of blue denim straight leg jeans is with an oversized shirt. Tuck it in, add a belt and put on your favourite kitten heels and you’re good to go. For the colder months, you can layer with a blazer or wool boyfriend style coat and some black leather boots.
Black & White
If you’re wanting something a little different from your regular blue denim, other colours are a sure way to look put together and trendy! White or black are another wardrobe must-have. Here are a couple of my favourite looks featuring white and black denim.
The look below is a really fun way to wear white denim. Styling white denim with all black is a bold, grungey style that makes the jeans really pop.
This black jean look is the perfect way to show how to style straight jeans in a cool, model off duty style. The tight ribbed top matched with an oversized, black blazer is a super chic yet effortless look. The addition of some sneakers really adds to the casual, chic style.
The Baggy, Ripped Jean
The ripped jean is always something that is controversial. You either love it or you hate it. I, love it. It’s a way to spice an otherwise plain outfit. Wearing ripped, loose jeans with a tight ribbed top and sneakers is an easy, yet stylish outfit.
The Loose
Last but not least, we have the loose jean look. Something that is a nod to the early 2000s era of fashion, it is making a comeback, and fast! Think oversized blazer, white crop top, baggy jeans and heels.
That rounds up my favourite way to style loose, straight leg denim jeans. I hope you got some inspiration! Let me know your go-to way of styling these styles.
