The hit Netflix show Sex Education has just dropped a hotly anticipated season 4. So we thought it was the perfect time to talk about the iconic and evolving looks from some of our fave characters in the series. The show is not afraid to tackle the tough topics and much like the fashion featured, it's a unique and different approach to a lot of shows out there. Each character stands out in their own way by embracing a clear personal style and we’ve come to love the looks as much as the characters themselves.
This week's focus is the bold and smart Maeve Wiley. Maeve’s iconic looks reflect her dark past and bad girl reputation, with feminine touches that give us a hint of the kind girl behind the sarcastic wit and morbid sense of humour. To achieve the perfect Maeve Wiley look you can't go past a pair of black fishnets, a black denim mini & a statement coat, dark colours obviously. Team that with a pair of combat boots or converse in the same dark tones then layer up the jewellery, plus some. For season 1 Maeve, finish with pink hair dye or spray.

LOOK 1
My favourite piece from Maeve’s wardrobe is her tassel leather jacket. This look is inspired by her jacket & the zip front dresses she favours. Again layering this over fitted items like torn tights and tees is perfect!
LOOK 2
This is a super versatile Maeve inspired look. One that can take you from school to a night out. Opt for a tight weave fish net and an oversized jacket. If you find one that’s been aged or thrifted even better.
LOOK 3
A casual look for getting around. Maeve rocked the red plaid shirt. Again buy big for that oversized look. Layering denim shorts over fishnets is another detail to try.
