2020'S TOP SANDAL TRENDS
I’ll be running you babes through 2020’s top sandal trends, i know you guys already can guess what these styles are!
channel dad sandals
lets start off with the most worn sandal of 2020 the channel dad slides, these shoes are worth a whopping
2.5-3k ( dont forget to use the trend app for cash back ) But can i say they are stunning! This style of shoe is a statement piece that is well worth it!
(i am not saying go and spend 3k on a pair of shoes that’s just silly) but it has been duped by many different brands for A LOT CHEAPER. brands include tony bianco, Source Unknown, EGO
This style of shoe can be worn for many occasions, i am loving wearing them with casual flare pants or a nice suit cut pant, even to the beach with your favourite pair of bikinis and shorts. Dress these shoes up with a long simple cut dress and adding some of your statement gold jewellery!
90’S style platform thong slides
When i say the word “platform thongs” do you instantly thing of Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen? some reason i do.. this was an iconic look in the 90’S that has now come back in to fashion! the style has become a little more modern with a thick strap and a more of a lower platform. I have been obsessed with wearing these atm! personally i feel like they go with every outfit! i have also worn these shoes to a more classy event and they still looked incredible.. My go to outfit for this look would have to be a basic pair of bike shorts and crop top matched with a white shirt or blazer undone, adding minimal jewellery with a slick back hair style. Another reason why i am loving this shoe ATM is the colour range they come in! From lime green to white, black, nude and pastel colours there is a colour for everyone & every outfit.
SANDALS BUT HEELS?
technically this isn’t classified as a “sandal” but to me it is! This simple chic shoe is in the top 2020 trends! there is a few different styles of these heels! on the top of my list would be the blocky type sandal/heel its got a wider strap on the foot with a chunky heel these shoes go with honestly everything, from jeans to a classy dress, as well as they are the comfiest out of all the heels, with the chunky heel they are a lot easier to be able to walk in.
The second on the list is the basic stiletto with a simple front strap this can be a 1 strap or a two strap style and it hasa thin small heel! i love these with a pair of leather pants and a blazer for a chic but punk look. These heels will also be the go to heel in 2021 its a good investment in my mind as every girl needs at least one pair of heels (it’ll take any casual outfit to dressy) its a basic for every ones wardrobe!
I could go on for days about the best sandals but i will leave it here for now.
